Abbott’s Furniture is a family-owned and operated business built on faith, honesty, and treating people the way we would want to be treated.

The store was opened in 2003 by Doug Abbott and his father, Greg Abbott, continuing a lifelong connection to the furniture industry. Doug grew up around furniture, learning the business from the ground up, and officially took over operations in 2012. Today, Doug and his wife Missy proudly own and run the store together.

We chose Lancaster, New Hampshire as our home because of Missy’s deep roots in the area, and we’re proud to serve the North Country and beyond. Our family lives nearby in Lunenburg, Vermont, and we also spend winters in Camden, South Carolina.

This truly is a family business. Our oldest son, Logan, serves as store manager and specializes in custom orders and interior design consulting, helping customers create exactly what they’re looking for. We’re also grateful for our dedicated team—Michelle, Donna, Toby, and Taylor—who help make every customer feel welcome.

Our faith is at the center of how we run our business. We believe in doing what’s right, being honest in all we do, and serving others with integrity and kindness.
